Creators

James Mageean and Alan Carter are the creators of ADA 3D Signs Inc. James and Alan wanted to start something new and exciting when they became interested in laser cutters and UV printers. They put their resources together and started a business.

“It all started around a campfire,” they like to say. The two have known each other for years being family friends. The contractors discussed their aspirations for taking a new path over the fire at family camping trips. “We wanted to help people in a more meaningful way.” Coming straight out of contracting, the men were frustrated with the quality of signs and how confusing it was to get some compliant signs or even people who knew what they were doing. So they decided to study the compliance laws in depth and learn how they could help others. From that campfire, the idea of ADA 3D Signs was created.

About ADA 3D Signs

Signs are everywhere, and vital to the communication and image of a business. The quality of its signs expresses how it wants the public to feel about it. Our design studio is equipped with some of the most advanced software and hardware, giving our designer the ability to offer a business high quality Designer or Custom signs. Designer signs are beautiful creations that gives a business a new, positive, visual impression. Or if there is an established sign presentation, we can match those designs for expansion or to upgrade and bring new life to older signage.

Federal ADA Requirements

Every business is required by law to meet the Federal American with Disabilities Act (ADA). Additionally, every business operating in California is required to meet the provisions of Title 24. The requirements of these laws are detailed and complex. Most businesses don’t have the time or resources to become fluent in these laws and how they apply to themselves. The consequences of non-compliance can be substantial. In addition to the actions of official enforcement, businesses need to concern themselves with a provision of the law that allows individuals and/or entities to sue for even the slightest error of compliance (such as a 1 inch placement error) and collect monetary damages for each violation. Do a Google search and read the terrifying stories of businesses that have faced these situations. The small amount it cost to be compliant pales in comparison to the consequences of facing a compliance lawsuit. ADA 3D Signs, Inc has the expertise in all forms of ADA signage and is prepared to assist our customers to meet their compliance requirements.
